CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST

We seek a seasoned Cybersecurity Specialist with 5-7 years of experience to join our client’s dynamic fintech team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing security measures, identifying potential threats, and safeguarding the company’s digital infrastructure against cyberattacks

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement security protocols, policies, and practices to protect sensitive financial data.
• Conduct security assessments, audits, and vulnerability testing to identify risks and weaknesses in the system.
• Monitor networks and systems for unusual activity, taking immediate action when necessary.Investigate security breaches, incidents, and anomalies, providing reports and recommendations for mitigation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into all stages of the software development lifecycle.
• Manage firewalls, encryption, VPNs, and other security infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity laws, regulations, and standards (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS).
• Train staff on security best practices, ensuring awareness and adherence to company policies.
• Keep up to date with the latest cybersecurity threats, tools, and trends

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.5-7 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity roles.
• Deep understanding of network security, firewalls, VPNs, and encryption techniques.
• Proficiency in security tools such as IDS/IPS, SIEM, antivirus, and penetration testing software.
• Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex security incidents.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
