BACKEND TECH LEAD

We are seeking a skilled Backend Tech Lead with 9+ years of experience to lead the backend development team and drive the design, architecture, and implementation of high-performance systems for our client. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in backend technologies, guiding a team of engineers, and ensuring the seamless delivery of backend services and APIs. This is a leadership role that requires both deep technical expertise and the ability to mentor and manage team members.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage the backend development team, ensuring efficient delivery of robust and scalable backend services.
• Architect, design, and implement RESTful APIs, microservices, and other backend components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, product, and design) to define and execute backend requirements.
• Drive best practices for backend development, including code reviews, system design, and architecture decisions.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance the performance of backend systems, ensuring uptime and responsiveness.
• Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior and mid-level engineers, fostering growth and collaboration within the team.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging backend technologies to ensure the use of the most effective tools and practices

REQUIREMENTS

• 9+ years of experience in backend development, with a strong focus on architecture, design, and implementation.
• Proficient in backend programming languages such as Node.js, Python, Java, Ruby, Go, or similar.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
