TECHNOLOGY PROJECT MANAGER

Job Summary

We are looking for a Technology Product Manager who will work with the team to develop software solutions in the finance and digital lending industry with an Agile framework. The Technology Project manager would be reporting to the CTO and manage the entire development lifecycle.

Job Description

1. Ensure delivery of development team efforts against agreed timelines.
2. Coordinate the UI/UX team to ensure delivery.
3. Coordinate the QA team.
4. Work with Product Managers to deliver the product roadmap.
5. Create Project delivery plans with all stakeholders buy-in.
6. Create and submit sprint plans to meet delivery expectations and project plan timelines.
7. Ensure all Business requirements are gathered, documented and shared with all stakeholders.
8. Coordinate daily stand-ups.
9. Coordinate retrospective sessions.
10. Ensure code and development documentation of all developed software and features.
11. Write user stories for development documentation.
12. Ensure prioritization of all projects are done regularly.
13. Ensure the Backlog is reviewed at agreed intervals.
14. Create and manage scope creep log.
15. Ensure all reports are submitted at the agreed time
16. Carry out industry surveys and competitor analysis

Experience and Qualification

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent education.
2. PMP would be an added advantage.
3. Eight to Ten years of work experience
4. Five years in a Project Management role.
5. Proficient in driving the software development life cycle.
6. Experience working in an Agile environment with diverse teams (Remote and onsite).
7. Must be knowledgeable of the Fintech space, especially banking, finance and lending.
8. Experience working with business owners to gather and prioritize business requirements
9. Experience presenting to organization leadership
10. Strong experience with project management tools such as JIRA, documentation on Confluence and Microsoft Project
11. Experience working with design, software development and QA teams
12. Ability to produce and interpret design specifications and technical documentation.
13. Strong analytical skills to solve and model complex business requirements.
14. Ability to collaborate on a cross-discipline team and clearly communicate solutions to both technical and non-technical team members.
